Pedro Ferreira, LASIGE integrated member, participated in Brussels in the Final Conference “Smart Buildings in Europe: Strategic Research & Innovation Agenda, Policy recommendations, and the Smart Readiness Indicator development”, which took place on March 23, 2023. The event was organized by the SmartBuilt4EU project consortium.

According to the organizers, this conference concludes the SmartBuilt4EU project by presenting progress in the SRI testing, policy recommendations as well as innovation priorities – based on the 12 White Papers produced by the European Smart Building Innovation Community on Occupant-centric buildings & quality of life, Smart financing & business models, Education, and upskilling, etc.

Pedro Ferreira will be participating in the Project pitches and panel session titled Smartness upgrades and the Smart Readiness Indicator to present the project he coordinates, Self Assessment Towards Optimisation of Building Energy (SATO). The event is also an excellent opportunity for networking since members of other European projects within the scope of SATO and some EU officers and executives are in attendance.
