The paper “The Immunopeptidomics Ontology (ImPO)” was published in SCIMAGO Q1 journal Database: The Journal of Biological Databases and Curation. The paper is the result of work involving an international team of researchers associated with the KATY project led by LASIGE integrated member Catia Pesquita and including PhD students Laura Balbi, Marta Silva, and Susana Nunes, and former MSc student Patrícia Eugénio.
The ImmunoPeptidomics Ontology (ImPO) is the first standardized ontology in immunopeptidomics experimental processes and bioinformatics analysis, and it facilitates data integration and analysis, querying, inference and knowledge generation, effectively bridging the gap between the clinical proteomics and genomics communities.
