Carlos Duarte, an integrated LASIGE member, participated in a round table discussion entitled “XR + AI: Synergies beyond the hype” at the workshop “Virtual Worlds – The Immersive Future. State of the art, strategies and funding opportunities”, organized by ANACOM in collaboration with the National Innovation Agency (ANI), which took place on 29 October 2025, in Lisbon.

The event was dedicated to virtual worlds, namely funding opportunities, with a focus on the European initiative “Horizon Europe”, and aimed to share relevant information with the Portuguese ecosystem, providing opportunities for creating synergies between relevant stakeholders.
