Sajjad Hekmat, LASIGE PhD student, has been awarded an FCT-UNITE! ULisboa PhD Scholarship, one of nine scholarships awarded from a total of 20 applications, under the 2023 call for applications.

The research carried out by the scholarship holder will take place, for a period not exceeding 24 months, at one of the foreign universities in the UNITE! consortium.

The University of Lisbon (ULisboa) is part of the University Network for Innovation, Technology and Engineering (UNITE!) consortium, which includes Technische Universität Darmstadt (Germany), Aalto University (Finland), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), Grenoble Institute of Technology (France), Politecnico di Torino (Italy) and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (Spain), Graz University of Technology (Austria), and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland).
