Visualization of Geo-referenced InformationDescription
This project is focused on the visualization of geo-referenced data organized by categories through the web either on desktop computers or on mobile devices. In both cases, the goal is to convey to the user the available information with intelligible visualizations. This includes, on one hand, offering mechanisms to define interactive queries expressing user preferences and, on the other hand, avoiding cluttered images using filtering mechanisms and adequate representation of the data elements that verify the query. So, the objectives of this project are the study of filtering mechanisms, the definition and the management of multiple representations, the representation layout and the interface issues related to the definition of selection criteria for interactive queries.
