Alcides Fonseca was one of the experts interviewed by the generalist press publication Dinheiro Vivo, for a piece on the past, current and future prospects of chip technology.

In the resulting article, the LASIGE researcher, provides insight about the evolution of chip technology, the obstacles it has encountered and the solutions to circumvent them. The article also forecasts the future of computation: optical chips and (made in Portugal) paper chips.
