Catia Pesquita, LASIGE’s integrated member and coordinator of the Health and Biomedical Informatics research, was invited to speak at INSIGHTS 2023, the annual conference of the Data Science Portuguese Association, which was held on September 21 and 22. Her talk was entitled: “The Price Of Ignorance: What do we lose when we only care about data and not knowledge” and presented the emerging area of knowledge science and its impact across different areas of machine learning.
