Date: 02/12/2024

La Caixa Foundation Fellows’ Association on the occasion of World Futures Day, on 2 December, 2024, mapped out the steps that will lead us to a future that’s fair and sustainable for everyone, based on the contributions of six La Caixa Foundation Fellows’, and Joel Samper, LASIGE PhD student, was one of those.

He is researching methods to make the exchange of messages online more secure and, at present, the main challenge facing cybersecurity is to find tools to combat digital crime whilst still respecting people’s privacy.

Other envisages were focused on culture of adapting, scientific literacy and culture, guaranteeing access to mental health care.

We challenge you to imagine our collective future, the future you want, and you can be inspired by reading the full article here.
