Tiago Guerreiro will be a keynote speaker at EAI GOODTECHS 2022. The GOODTECHS conference aims to present cutting-edge experiences with the design, implementation, deployment, operation and evaluation of smart objects and technologies for Social Good. The event is in its 8th edition and is a part of the European Alliance for Innovation (EIA) conference series. It will take place in Aveiro, Portugal, from September 14 to 16.

The LASIGE researcher keynote speech, titled “Designing Inclusive Technologies that Promote Collaboration, Playfulness, and Self-Efficacy”, aims to address the limits of dealing with “accessibility” as an after-thought, an adjustment. The talk will cover the researcher’s team engagements with communities of people with disabilities. The researcher will present research projects his team has been working on and the different methodologies applied to get a deeper understanding of the communities they collaborate with, and the impact of their interventions.

The researcher’s work is in the scope of the LASIGE’s Accessibility and Ageing research line.
