One of LASIGE’s strategic pillars for this year, defined by the Executive Committee, is to increase its visibility.

Therefore, LASIGE participated in the 10th edition of the Annual Science Communication Congress – SciComPt 2022, held in the Azores, May 11-14, 2022, to reinforce the communications skills of its management team.

“Stop, listen and act: reflecting on the past to build the future” was the congress theme. Aside from the several workshops, thematic sessions, and round-tables, the plenary sessions were from the responsibility of Frank Kupper and Elizabeth Rasekoala, respectively:

• “Rethinking science communication: towards a practice of openness and reflexivity in uncertain times”
• “Science Communication in Lusophone Contexts: Transformational Perspectives on Internationalisation, Decolonisation and Partnerships”
