José Coelho, LASIGE’s integrated researcher, was one of the panelists at the Lisbon Urban Data Laboratory (LxDataLab) session, “From the LxDataLab challenge to the Master of Science project at Ciências”, held on May 16, 2022, which intended to present results and the new perspectives of collaboration.
This Laboratory is one project that involves the Lisbon City Council, an innovative ecosystem, and 13 government institutions of higher education. It aims to develop a new generation of public services in the context of smart cities by exploring advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and supercomputing tools to analyze complex combinations of large datasets in areas of public interest, focusing on the areas of Environment and Energy, Citizen, Economy, Governance, Mobility, and Way of Life.
