LASIGE’s PhD students Jéssica Catarino and Nuno Rodrigues were awarded scholarships (of the 50 scholarships assigned) in a partnership between Huawei Portugal and .PT, under the second edition of Seeds For The Future 2.0 program, which aims to empower students in the STEM areas.

This year there were 5306 applications from students (of which 47% were submitted by women) from across the country – around 80% more than the number recorded in the first edition of this program, where LASIGE also had three students awarded, in 2021/2022.

Our two students, Jéssica Catarino and Nuno Rodrigues, were selected based on their academic and social merit in a call of an acceptance rate of 0,94%.
