Lasige’s PhD student Guilherme Espada was part of the organizing committee of the 2022 edition of the Programming Languages Design and Implementation (PLDI) conference, held in San Diego, California, from June 13 to 17.
PLDI is the premier conference on the intersection of theory and practice in programming language research, with a Core A* ranking. The PhD student was this year’s event Vidoe Chiar. Guilherme was also a member of the Artifact Evaluation Committee within the Research Artifacts-track.
The student will also be part of the Organizing Committee for the 2023 edition. This edition will be held in Orlando, Florida, as part of the Federated Computing Research Conference, alongside ten other ACM conferences.
