DiSIEM, an EU project funding, coordinated by Alysson Bessani, LASIGE integrated member, was recognized by the European Union as a story of success.

This project has a new approach to online security that takes into account a wide range of information, such as social media and blogs, and is less expensive and rather effective than most of the market solutions.

DiSIEM solution helps companies and citizens to be safer in cyberspace, based on smarter security information and event management (SIEM) systems, extending such systems in several directions, considering diverse sources of information and threat sensors and tools to monitor infrastructures and discover possible threats.
