LASIGE students welcomed the participants of the 16th Workshop on Biomedical Engineering (WBME), which took place at ULisboa Sciences from October 14 to 19, 2024, interested in the multidisciplinarity of computer science with the areas of Health, Technology and Biomedical Engineering.

Laura Balbi, Diogo Branco, Duarte Saraiva, Hugo Figueiras, João Pedro Mendes, Joel Samper, Marta Silva, and Ricardo Carvalho organized and presented a poster session on the research lines HBI, DSI, IHCI.

The WBME is organized by Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics Student Union and it is a fast-growing event focused on employability, innovation, and scientific discovery in Biomedical Engineering, where students, graduates, and professionals gather to learn from top Portuguese and international experts. With cutting-edge talks, interactive workshops, and networking with industry leaders, this event is a gateway to the latest advancements and career opportunities in the field.
