LASIGE Talks, the launching session

Date: 27/11/2024

On 27 November 2024, LASIGE launched the ‘LASIGE Talks’, a fortnightly/monthly event to showcase recently distinguished publications or cutting-edge work in progress by researchers from the research centre, consolidating the scientific culture of the LASIGE community.

These events also serve to foster a spirit of belonging, integration and well-being among researchers, and aims to stimulate scientific discussion and co-operation, increasing the likelihood of creating synergies and boosting excellent scientific production.

In this first session we counted on Suhail Sherif with “Ways to successfuly fail at solving puzzles” and Paulo Canelas with “Is it a bug? Understanding physical unit mismatches in robot software”.

The lectures were really interesting, capturing the audience and generating lively discussions on the subjects.
