LASIGE WELCOME DAY happened yesterday, October 14, 2020, remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This annual event is designed to welcome new members to the unit, as the 2nd-year MSc students who start their dissertations and also to attract other potential members for LASIGE, as new researchers, publicizing and promoting the work’s unit.

It was an excellent moment for sharing LASIGE alumni experiences and to give some tips for the youngest by Vinicius Cogo (LASIGE integrated member) and the former members Tiago Cogumbreiro (UMass), Telma Pereira (Feedzai), and Luís Duarte (Sony), led by the organizer committee composed by the PhD Students Carlos Mão de Ferro, Paulo Antunes, Soraia M. Alarcão and Vinicius Cogo (recently PhD graduated). The participants also had the opportunity to interact in the virtual coffee break!
