LASIGE had its Welcome Day annual event yesterday, November 2, 2022. The event was organised by LASIGE’s PhD Student commission and aimed at being a warming and informative welcome reception to our new members.

The keynote speaker was LASIGE’s alumni Henrique Moniz, who shared their experience as computer scientist after finishing their doctorate at LASIGE/Ciencias ULisboa.

The event also included a presentation, by the LASIGE’s director Alysson Bessani, on the unit’s drive for excellence, focused on LASIGE’s research quality goals for the future.
