The ULisboa/CGD Scientific Prize ceremony was held on May 28, 2022. Sara C. Madeira, LASIGE’s integrated researcher, was one of the six Ciências ULisboa researchers awarded at this year’s event. The award is a recognition of the impact of her work on the Computer Science and Computer Engineering field.

This prize is presented every year by the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), with the support of Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD). This year’s ceremony was part of the University of Lisbon’s Scientific Journeys: “The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Embracing the Societal, Technological and Environmental Challenges at ULisboa”.
