Begins today the virtual kick-off meeting of the “Self Assessment Towards Optimization of Building Energy” (SATO) project, funded by EU H2020, and coordinated by Pedro Ferreira, LASIGE integrated member.
This project involves 7 countries: Portugal, Italy, Denmark, Austria, Spain, Greece and Switzerland and 20 entities from academia, business sector, and public administration, being 4 linked third-parties and 16 partners: Ciências ULisboa, Milan Polytechnic and Aalborg University; EDP, Sonae (Worten), Siemens (Portuguese and Austrian delegations), Vieira & Lopes, CYPE SOFT, Knauf, XTEL Wireless ApS, Core Innovation and Technology, and EK Energiekonzepte AG; Municipal Energy Agency of Seixal, municipality of Milan and the housing cooperative Frederikshavn Boligforening.
This project aims to tackle this challenge by creating a new energy self-assessment and optimization platform (the SATO platform) that enables the monitoring and visualization of the consumption of equipment throughout its life.
