The LASIGE Summer of Research is an initiative that enables undergraduate and first-year master’s students to engage in research through hands-on projects with close mentorship and is highly supported by the LASIGE Executive Committee.

This year, at its second edition, Laura Balbi led the organizing student team (Beatriz Guerreiro, Mariana Gouveia and Pedro Trindade), from 1 July 2026 until the end of September, and there were 28 young trainees and 28 supervisors, including LASIGE integrated members and doctoral students.

Trainees are also invited to participate and present their work at the research unit’s upcoming LASIGE Welcome Day 2026. See you there? 🙂
