Abstract:
The intersection of Green Computing and Empirical Software Engineering provides a powerful approach for addressing the complex challenges of measuring and analyzing software energy consumption. By applying rigorous ESE methodologies, such as controlled experimentation and data-driven analysis, it becomes possible to better understand energy usage patterns. Leveraging these combined fields can yield actionable insights, enabling the development of more energy-efficient and sustainable software solutions across various application domains.
