Tiago Guerreiro, LASIGE researcher and coordinator of the “Accessibility & Ageing” research line of excellence, has been appointed as ACM Transactions on Accessible Computing (TACCESS) Editor-in-Chief, together with Stephanie Ludi (University of North Texas). The appointment starts on August 1 for a tenure of 3 years.
TACCESS is a quarterly journal that publishes refereed articles addressing issues of computing as it impacts the lives of people with disabilities. It provides a technical forum for disseminating innovative research that covers either:
- applications of computing and information technologies to provide assistive systems to persons with disabilities, or
- investigations of computing technologies and their use by persons with disabilities.
TACCESS is a peer-reviewed and archival journal, both in print and online, that serves as a resource for researchers, authors, editors, and reviewers.
