January 18, 2021, was the virtual kick-off meeting of the “Widening Research on Pervasive and eHealth" (WeHealth) project, funded by EU H2020, and the LASIGE integrated members Tiago Guerreiro (Principal Investigator at LASIGE) and André Rodrigues (team member) were present.

This project involves 5 countries: North Macedonia, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy, and Germany with entities from academia, business sector, and public administration. It is coordinated by Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (North Macedonia).

This project aims to conduct research on pervasive eHealth and establish a sustainable network of research and dissemination across Europe. WeHealth will focus on data-driven healthcare, human factors in pervasive health and federated machine learning. It is expected that the outcomes of the project will be shared among early-stage researchers and researchers in target institutions.
