Luís Correia, LASIGE integrated member, was one of the panellists at the AR Event in the Champalimaud Foundation under the title “Shaping Tomorrow’s Intelligence” on May 7, 2024.

With his intervention “The Future of (us &) AI”, our researcher suggested some foreseeable directions of AI development anchored in the under-addressed human-AI partnership. A particular aspect to focus on is the need to ensure human capability to audit AI systems, which may be hampered by the envisaged distributed nature of AI.
