Last week, July 11 to 15, 2022, LASIGE hosted the Summer School on Human Factors in Pervasive Health, the 2nd edition of WideHealth‘s project thematic school.
It occurred in a hybrid format with participants from Italy, Germany, North Macedonia, Slovenia, and Portugal, receiving and providing expertise.
An extensive program with lectures, hands-on sessions, health projects showcase, on-site visits, round-table, thematic panels, doctoral colloquium, and still some time for closing this fabulous week with a pitch competition and an awards session.
LASIGE’s integrated members presented some sessions (Tiago Guerreiro, João Guerreiro, Carlos Duarte), were part of the pitch competition jury (André Rodrigues, Luís Carriço), made part of the doctoral colloquium jury (João Guerreiro), and Diana Sousa, LASIGE’s Ph.D. Student, participated in the round table on Gender Equality in ICT.
The Organizing Committee led by the researchers Tiago Guerreiro and Filipa Brito was composed also by LASIGE’s Ph.D. Students (David Gonçalves, Ruben Branco, Diogo Soares, Diogo Branco, Eleonora Auletta) and a junior researcher (Ricardo de Carvalho).
