Last week, November 3-4, 2020, LASIGE participated at the annual science meeting organized by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT), the Foundation that supports Science and Technology in Portugal.
Some of our researchers submitted their communications and were selected for the Parallel Sessions:
- “DeST: Deep Semantic Tagger”, authored by André Lamúrias and Francisco M. Couto;
- “Promoting Self-Efficacy in Accessible Computing: A Case Study of Nonvisual Smartphone Assistance”, authored by André Rodrigues, André Santos, Kyle Montague, Tiago Guerreiro;
- “BISEN: Efficient Boolean Searchable Symmetric Encryption with Verifiability and Minimal Leakage”, authored by Bernardo Ferreira, Bernardo Portela, Tiago Oliveira, Guilherme Borges, Henrique Domingos, João Leitão.
Due to the pandemic, this year the event was shortened and these sessions had to be canceled, as they would not be technically possible.
The demo “Reliable and Real-time water monitoring system” by José Cecílio, based on the AQUAMON project, whose PI is António Casimiro, is available here.
And our following PhD Students could present their posters:
